Teodelina Detry (1975) es una artista visual que vive y trabaja en Argentina. La fotografía es para ella una reflexión poética sobre la búsqueda de libertad y la fragilidad de la vida. Su práctica nace de la necesidad de vivir de manera creativa y de traducir en imágenes las emociones y los gestos casi imperceptibles que observa en el mundo que la rodea. En sus investigaciones visuales le interesa explorar los cruces entre el lenguaje de la fotografía y otros medios trazando metáforas entre el paisaje exterior y los paisajes internos. Intenta expandir los límites de la mirada y la percepción, yendo y viniendo entre lo macro y lo micro, lo universal y lo singular, estableciendo un diálogo sensible entre lo intangible y lo visible. Busca generar imágenes sensoriales que recorren espacios de dualidad y equilibrios inestables donde algo está a punto de suceder. Su trabajo propone demorarse en una experiencia de contemplación e intimidad entre la obra y el espectador. Es una invitación a habitar el silencio. En su recorrido como artista estudió dirección de arte, fotografía y pintura en Buenos Aires, Ginebra y Nueva York. Ha participado de exhibiciones nacionales e internacionales tales como Canto das Terras Altas en el Pabellón de las Artes de la UCA (Buenos Aires, 2025), Céu Terra en el espacio cultural Ateliê Casa Campinas (San Pablo, Brasil, 2024), en el Festival de Helsinki (Finlandia, 2020), así como en exhibiciones en las galerías Cecilia Caballero, Del Infinito y Rolf (Argentina), Galería del Paseo y Campo Art Fest (Uruguay) y Galerie Espace L (Suiza). También presentó su trabajo en ferias tales como Photo Basel (Suiza), Volta NY, Pinta BAphoto y SPArte con la Galería Mario Cohen (Brasil). En 2023 participó de una residencia artística en el Museo en los Cerros en Jujuy (Argentina) y en 2020 publicó su primer libro de fotografía de autor, La Anémona es una flor que se abre al menor golpe de viento. Ese mismo año recibió el premio "Book Photographer of the Year" de International Photography Awards.

Her work aims to create sensorial images that traverse spaces of duality and unstable balance, where something is about to happen. Her work invites a intimate experience of contemplation and intimacy between the artwork and the viewer. It is an invitation to inhabit silence. Throughout her artistic journey, she has studied art direction, photography, and painting in Buenos Aires, Geneva, and New York.
